Ritme Celler is the Priorat project of Albert Jané, known for Acústic in Montsant. Here, he aims to craft authentic wines that truly reflect the appellation. Only old vines (vieilles vignes) are used, sourced from six different villages throughout Priorat. An outstanding choice in terms of price/quality! For the past decade, Albert has been working entirely organically.
Macabeu (100%)
3 Macabeus uses grapes from three different vineyards on Finca Can Mila, the most recent purchase of the bodega.
Cariñena (70%), Garnatxa (30%)
2021
Acústic is the name of the bodega as well as its basic wine. Albert wants his his to mirror the authenticity of the region, the nature and the soil, "unplugged", or "acoustic". Hence the choice of a biodynamic viticulture and winemaking (but without getting lost in it). The wines have often been praised by the wine critics.
Garnatxa blanca (93%), Macabeu (5%), Garnatxa Roja (1%), Pansal (1%)
2008 was the first vintage of this wine. Part of the grapes come from the high village of Ullmolins (up to 800m), in the Monsant region. The harvest takes place in the first half of November, and the altitude bring a lot of freshness to the wines.

Auditori is the latest addition to the Celler Acústic range. This Grenache wine comes from a 80 to 100 year-old vine.
Garnatxa blanca (76%), Pansal (19%), Macabeu (5%)
Albert Jané's dream was to produce a white wine which would equal it best red cuvée, on the same terroir: his Auditori vineyard. The dream has now come true. Made with old vine Grenache blanc, with a little Pansal and Macabeu (old vines too), it epitomises the greatness of its Montsant terroir. A powerful and very Mediterranean white, in the style of the best white Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
Cabernet Franc (100%)
One of the few 100% Cabernet Franc wines in the Iberian Peninsula. It was first planted here as a blending variety. Some years ago, it was decided to vinify it on its own. It was a great success. Limited production (5,300 bottles).
Cabernet Sauvignon (50%), Merlot (50%)
A classic in the Augustus range, the Cabernet-Sauvignon reaches new height each year. This "Mediterranean Bordeaux" is made with older vines yielding a much more 'serious' wine than 20 years ago.
Chardonnay (100%)
One of Spain's best Chardonnays! The pride of Augustus. The ageing in oak is not so long as it used to be. The barrels are heavily toasted, and so is the wine - not to be confused with oaky notes. This leaves room for very seductive fruity notes.
37,5 cl.
The Augustus Chardonnay is one of the best examples of this grape made in Spain. And the pride of the house! The barrel ageing has been reduced over the years. As the barrels are heavily toasted, one can find aromas of toasted bread, but no woody notes, which allows the wine to better show the quality of its fruit. This is the 20th vintage of this wine. Production: 20,000 bottles
One of Spain's best rosés, made from a solid Cabernet Sauvignon. 27;000 bottles.
Xarel.lo (100%)
This is the first wine of the new project of Albert Jan (Acústic) in its birthplace, Montmell. At Mas Vilella, he makes white and red wines from local grapes.
Garnatxa blanca (100%)
Trailblazer since 1994. This is the first wine named after the founder of the estate. It took decades of hard work to select the best vinification method and the best blend: Grenache Blanc and Viognier, without the Chardonnay which was used in the first years). Production: 8,400 bottles.
Belat (100%)
2012
This is a very peculiar project of the Albet i Noya family. The first vintage was 2007. The production is very limited (600 bottles). The wine is made with old varieties, virtually forgotten. The name, Belat, is the anagram of Albet. One of Catalogne's most interesting grape-revival projet

Bellmunt Blanc & Negre are the first "village wines" of Mas d'en Gil. The idea is to offer entry-level Priorat wines at a very good price-quality relation, but which are true to their terroir.
Garnatxa (60%), Cariñena (30%), Cabernet Sauvignon (10%)
Mineral and Mediterranean are this wine's best descriptors. It is made with the grapes of a 3 ha parcel of Macabeu planted in the 1980's, round Santes Creus, at 300 meters above sea-level, on limestone.
The Bonanto is the creation of Spain's best sommelier and two world-class mixologists. The three men behind this project are no strangers to excellence. One of them is Marc Alvarez, who has held a top position within the El Bulli group for years. Three years ago, they launched their Ginraw gin, which we proudly included in our range at the time. Now, we have received the same request for their Bonanto. The trio spent three years perfecting this product, both in terms of content and presentation. Their search for a high-quality aperitif led them to create a wine-based aperitif infused with a cherry distillate. It can be enjoyed on the rocks during the day, with cava as a substitute for Aperol Spritz, or with tonic or soda in the style of Campari. They even developed a special bottle for the product, with a patented design. Without a doubt, this Bonanto is set to become a qualitative addition to the world of cocktails and aperitifs.

Braó is the essence of Monsant: a powerful, Mediterranean wine made with Grenache and Carignan, from 70 year-old vines planted on terraces and steep slopes. Organic cultivation. Like all of Albert Jané's wines, a great seducer and one of the best wines of the denomination.

Jané Ventura stated producing cava in 1914 and soon grew famous in the whole region. It is one of the pioneers of Cava. Since 1988, it has also been producing still wines, white and red. The greatest cavas have a very limited sugar dosage, or no dosage at all, thus showing the full richness of the wine.
Chardonnay (33%), Macabeu (33%), Xarel.lo (33%)
Special version of the fantastic "Efecte". Beware! This is not a "cava". Josep-Maria Albet i Noya, during his presidency of the D.O. Penedès, created a separate appellation of origin for the sparkling wines, outside the D.O. CAVA which he felt was too much under the influence of the big mastodons; Only grapes from organic vineyards are allowed. Indeed, Josep-Maria is the pioneer of organic wines across Spain. It is therefore for more than 25 years that his bubbles were chosen by the Roca brothers of the restaurant of the same name as their house aperitif. Especially for us, we were also allowed to import this house aperitif with the label of this top restaurant (2x best restaurant in the world) in Belgium. The Roca brothers make their own coupage every year on the estate, which is then bottled with their label. Top price/quality!
Chardonnay (50%), Macabeu (50%)
The bush-vine Macabeu planted around 1960, whereas the double-guyot chardonay dates from 1990. The real harvest takes place between mid-September and mid-October. Production: 8.500 bottles.

Enric Soler is the king of Xarello. For more than 10 years, he has been making his wonderful NUN from the grapes he inherited from his grandfather. This cuvée allows the wine lover to realise the potential of this grape, even in young vines. Biodynamic farming.

This wine was born by accident, when Dirk discovered that he could make a perfect aperitif. Nunci mean 'village crier" - it was the function of the man from whom Dirk bought the estate.

The name Nunci comes from the fact that Dirk bought his vineyards from the village's cryer - the Nunci.
Syrah (36%), Garnatxa (22%), Cabernet Franc (20%), Merlot (14%), Cabernet Sauvignon (7%)
As it is the case for most new style Priorat wines, Dirk uses a base of Grenache-Carignan (minimum 50%), blended with other grapes, mainly from younger vines. Even though it has a Mediterranean touch to it, this wine is very fresh, maybe thanks to the Cabernet Franc, which is quite rare in this zone. The time of ageing in wood is reduced, so as to limit the oaky notes - and it is a success. An outstanding price-quality relation. The name Nunci comme from the fact that Dirk bought his vineyards from the village's cryer - the Nunci.

This project shares the same philosophy as in Acústic Celler, Albert Jané's famous estate in Montsant.

Only vieilles vignes are used, coming from 6 different villages throughout Priorat. Top price/quality! Albert has been working completely organically for about 10 years.
Xarel.lo (75%), Chardonnay (25%)
Roura is the champion of the price quality bubbles. Their style is deliciously vinous, which reflects the 15 months of ageing. The Chardonnay in the blend brings some creaminess.
Xarel.lo (70%), Chardonnay (30%)
The cuvée 5 is the top quality of this estate, a selection of the best vines.
Roussanne (25%), Chenin Blanc, Marsanne, Parellada Montonega
Selma is a cult wine. Everybody has heard about it, but rare are those who got to taste it. Selma is the name of a small mountain village in the Sierra de Montmell, in Santes Creus (Province of Tarragona). Here are Jaume et Ester Jin's roots; and this is here that years ago they started ti plant vine son slaps, on a very small scale. Biodynamic culture and winemaking.
Chenin Blanc, Marsanne, Roussanne, Xarel.lo
Montonega
16 years ago, Jané Ventura started to try and revive the Malvasia de Sitges of ancient fame. Many other winemakers followed suit. This light and lively wine is a good introduction to this variety. semperviva means eternal, and is the name of a flower that can be dried and thus preserved for a very long time. A beautiful name for a beautiful wine, of which only 4,400 bottles have been made in this first vintage.
Sumoll (100%)
Gerard Jané was instrumental in the revival of one of the most typical grapes of Penedès: Sumoll. For a long time, yet, this variety was not on the DO's grape list. Fortunately, this changed 10 years ago and now the DO favours the development of the local varietals.
Pedro Ximénez (90%), Moscatel de Alejandria (10%)
This is the white "village wine" of Terroir al Limit. It is mainly composed of Pedro Ximénez, both spicy and Mediterranean, and a little Muscat d'Alexandrie. Refinement and minerality at its best!
Cariñena (50%), Garnatxa (50%)
Montonega (100%)
This cuvée is currently the only wine made out of Montanega (a variant of Parellada coming from Selma (El Pal de Manlleu), a small village in the Montmell hills). This is the project of Ester Nin and her brother, who originate from the place. The vines are planted on red clay soils (hence the name Vermella). There are cultivated biodynamically. A rare, classy and very Mediterranean wine.
Cabernet Sauvignon (60%), Garnatxa (40%)
Mediterranean red wine, firm, yet with supple tannins and a nice saltiness, unique due to its lumaquel.la terroir.
Garnatxa (48%), Tempranillo (35%), Cariñena (11%), Cabernet Sauvignon (6%)
Usatges is the second wine of the estate - but a high quality wine. Its blend can change from one year to another, as it is made with the grapes which are not used for the Clos de L'Obac and the Miserere.
Garnatxa blanca (60%), Macabeu (40%)
This is the one-man project of Josep Maria Castillo, a oenologist who has worked for several estates in Terra Alta. With this vermouth, he is back his roots.
Garnatxa blanca, Macabeu, Malvasia de Sitges, Subirat Parent, Xarel.lo
A new line at Jané Ventura's estate. Until now, there were ont two whites in the range, an entry-level wine and a top wine. After a long period of experimentation, a new trio of wines was introduced, the Selecció (in white, red and rosé). These three wines are made with the grapes of 15 different vineyards planted with old vines.
