This rather young appellation has an impressive pedigree. From the 60’s to the 80’s, viticulture had virtually disappeared from this area, replaced by kiwis! The climate of the region is almost sub-tropical: warm days and one shower almost everyday. In the 80’s, fortunately, things began to change (like ...

One of our best Albariños, made from the grapes of a 180 year-old pre-phylloxeric vine . Impressive wine. Production: 4.000 bottles only.
Small side project from Rodri Méndez of Forjas del Salnés. This wine comes from 105-year-old vines planted in pergola. 3 small plots: 1 granite, 1 sandy, 1 limestone.
A small side projet by Rodri Méndez of Forjas de Salnés. The wine comes from 70 year old Albariño vines planted on granite and sand.
Rodri Méndez is one of the best producers of Albariño wines in Galicia. Leirana is his entry level wine, but also the perfect illustration of his style: non frills, crisp, and sharp. Rodri mainly works with older vines, and those are put into good use, in this wine as well as in his top range (the Goliardo line).

2019
This wine was made for the first time in 2017. It is unique, as Rodri is the only one to make a single vineyard wine won this exceptional terroir: a 100 year-old vine planted on 3 metres of sans, 50 metres from the seaside at Arra, in Montalvo-Sanxenxo. Unique indeed.
This is only the second vintage of this cuvée since 2005.
This "entry level wine" is really a top wine! Respectful of its terroir, elegant and complex, with a good ageing potentiel. Pazo means estate in the Galician language.

An entry-level wine... and a top wine! Respectful of its terroir, elegant and complex. And with some ageing potential. Pazo means estate in Galician.
The new top wine by Berta Garcia, who made wine at Latour and Haut Brion. The grapes come from within the estate's walls, hence the name of this cuvée, Tras Los Muros, behind the walls.
2014
This cuvée is only produced in the best vintages. It is not aged in barrels but in stainless steel tanks, on its lees, at low temperatures. This unique wine is only released after 6 years.
