Daniel Landi is one of the most talked-about young winemakers in Spain. He has set Sierra de Gredos back on the wine map of Spain.
This Uvas de la Ira blend (Spanish for Grapes of Wrath, like the John Steinbeck novel) is his entry level wine. But what an entry level wine!
It is made with old grenaches from different part of the Sierra, mainly on slate (pizarra).

Trial analysis
Nice ruby colour. A lot of red fruit on the nose (cherry, red berries...) and some lovely spicy notes. Both refined and complex. The mouth is the same, juicy, wide and elegant. A very Burgundian style. Long and full of personality.
