Pre-sale: delivery in november 2025
Single vineyard at an altitude of 1,200m with an area of 0.3 hectares. The vineyard's name refers to its northern orientation. 2010 is the first vintage ever vinified of Rumbo al Norte. Production of +/- 1,400 bottles.
Vinification
Whole-bunch fermentation with indigenous yeasts, in open vats. No pumping over, only foot-treading.
Some 50 days of maceration; 12 months of ageing in 600 litre French oak barrels. Only a minimal dose of SO2 is added before bottling (no filtration).

16-18°C in a large Burgundy glass.
Trial analysis
This is no blockbuster grenache, but a Burgundy-style wine.
Pale, clear colour, subtle aromas opening up with time. A lot of class, but some strength too, in this terroir driven grenache
