The Coma d'en Pou covers around 10 ha, planted with vines and olive trees. The first wine (a very limited volume) was made in 1996. During the 1990's, Cabernet Sauvignon was the main grape in the blend; now it is Grenache Noir.

Garnatxa blanca (100%)
Trailblazer since 1994. This is the first wine named after the founder of the estate. It took decades of hard work to select the best vinification method and the best blend: Grenache Blanc and Viognier, without the Chardonnay which was used in the first years). Production: 8,400 bottles.
Morenillo (100%)
Templari, or templars were Christian knights (see label). The first vintage of this wine, which represents the revival of the morenillo grape, was put on the market in 2004. Now Morenillo is replanted in the region, also by other producers.
Selection of the best grapes in the old vines of El Grau, Carrascal and La Cometa - 2 hectares in total. Production: 5,000 bottles.
Mando (40%), Tintorera (40%), Arcos (20%)
This estate owns a real treasure of old amphoras in which it makes a special range of wines: the white Cullerot and the red Vermell and Parotet. Pure and juicy wines.
Macabeu (30%), Pedro Ximénez (30%), Verdil (30%), Malvasia (10%)
Cullerot (tadpole, in the Valencian dialect) is a nickname for Valencian people - hence the image on the label. For some years now, Celler del Roure has tried to save the old local varietals. They are still using the "old winemaking system", in the big earthenware amphoras (tinajas) they have kept on this ancient estate. 2010 was the first vintage of this cuvée. Production is around 24,000 bottles.
Monastrell (80%), Cariñena (10%), Mando (10%)
Maduresa means maturity. The label refers to the perfect ripeness of each berry, a prerequisite for a successful vinification. Mando is a disappearing grape which has been saved thanks toPablo's efforts.
Mando (70%), Arcos (30%)
Safrà is the 3rd wine in the red "amfora" line of Celler del Roure. It is the freshest of the three, thanks to the Mando grape, and also the Arcos, which is gaining weight in the blend every year. A wine of character.
Arcos (70%), Mando (30%)
Parotet was a landmark in the history of Celler del Roure. Some years ago, they began restoring 400 year-old amphoras that they has discovered in an underground cellar, and started to use them for test winemaking , first in white then in red - Parotet was the first red wine to be made in amphoras.
Mando
2020
Rosé bubbles with a special pedigree. The "Les Filles d'Amelia" line was created by Pablo as a tribute to his mother. Like the rosé "Les Prunes", this sparkling cuvée Les Danses is made with Manso. It is a Méthode ancestrale, refermenting naturally in the bottle. And also a rosé.
Mando (100%)
This wine the tribute of Pablo Calatayud, the owner of Celler del Roure (still a family estate), to his mother Amalia and her sisters. This white wine was made with red grapes, hence its light pink colour. A wine with a real personality.
Monastrell (30%), Petit Verdot (20%), Tintorera (20%), Cabernet Sauvignon (10%), Merlot (10%), Syrah (10%)
Entry level wine made with old Monastrell vines (and others varietals) planted neat the prehistoric site of Les Alcusses. This blend is one of Valencia's most successful wines.
Arcos, Forcalla
A new project from Pablo Calatayud. The "Ferrero & Senís" line is a tribute to 2 of his best collaborators since ages. With the wines from this line, he mainly wants to return to the forgotten grape varieties of the past, almost all of which had disappeared due to being too light and lacking in alcohol. These are mainly Arcos and Forcallà, which give light and elegant wines, paying homage to the Mediterranean light.
Cariñena (100%)
