This Páramos de Nicasia is Oriol & Susana's "village wine" in Toro. It comes from an old ungrafted vine in Villaester, North West of the Douro, on sandy soils. Besides the typical Tinta de Toro, one can find there quite a lot of Grenache and Malvasia. If you add to all of this Oriol's very traditional approach to winemaking, you get a really singular Toro.
Tempranillo (89%), Garnacha (7%), Graciano (4%)
Sela, the latest wine at Roda's, is made from 15 to 30 year-old vines. Its name comes from a Scandinavian river where owner Mario Rotllan goes regularly so as to revitalise himself and fish in a magnificent landscape.

Tinta del Pais
Granuja means mischievous in Spanish. This strange name is a tribute to Cote's maternal grandfather, Teofilo Reyes, who was the godfather of the Ribera wines, but who was also a joker. This Granuja is a blend of Tempranillo grapes from 5 different terroirs: two in Ribera del Duero (Gumiel and Baños de Valdearrados), Toro, Cigales and Valtiendas. The result is a surprising synergy between these 5 terroirs and the ultimate expression of what tempranillo can give you in Castille-Leon. A perfect tribute indeed for Teófilo !
This cuvée only uses the best grapes from the oldest vines. Its precise origin can thus vary from one year to another according to the ripeness and quality of the grapes.
Tempranillo (97%), Graciano (3%)

The name of Corimbo is a token of rarity in itself, since it is a rare kind of thistle.
Aragonés, Garnacha, Petit Verdot
The most outstanding of Cote's creations. This Cote Luna is a blend od three varietals which are rarely found side to side in the region or even any region of Spain: Aragonés, Petit Verdot and Grenache. What's more, they are 115 and 70 year-old, prephylloxeric vines. And what a result! This wine is better then a great many Riberas...
Tempranillo (95%), Graciano (5%)
A reserva wine with a great pedigree! Roda I is always made with the top grapes - 30+ year-old Tempranillos mostly, from the best vineyards.

1994 was the first vintage of this wine. The bodega was bought in 1992. Meanwhile, the family has constantly been investing in the cellar and viticultural equipment. In 2000, stainless steel fermentation tanks were replaced by large oak vats and the oak barrel cellar was equipped with air conditioning; more recently, a new bottling line was also installed.
