Tinta de Toro (100%)
75 cl.
2021
2009 was the first vintage for Flor de Vetus. This cuvée is made with the youngest vines of the estate. Vetus means forbidden in latin.
Listán blanco (100%)
2022
With his Viñátigo project, Jesús Méndez wants to revive the old ungrafted and disappearing grapes of the Canary islands. All cuvées are produced in very small quantities, and not every year, as the choice of varietal may change with the vintage. This Listan Blanco comes from 100+ year-old vines planted on young volcanic, well-drained soils, rich in minerals, in the North-Western part of Tenerife.
Macabeu (100%)
2023
Mineral and Mediterranean are this wine's best descriptors. It is made with the grapes of a 3 ha parcel of Macabeu planted in the 1980's, round Santes Creus, at 300 meters above sea-level, on limestone.
Garnacha (100%)
Albillo, Blanquilla, Doña Blanca, Macabeu, Marisancho, Tardana
A village wine made with grapes of old vines (local varieties only). And also an ethical wine made thanks to a crowdfunding in favour of the local winegrowers. Full of character. One of its kind.
Tintorera (70%), Moravia Agria (30%)
Envínate operates in several regions of Spain. The red thread being the elegance and the Atlantic character of their wines. Cet Albahra ("small lake") is the most Mediterranean of their range, but still shows some elegance. It is made with 70% Tintorera from Almnasa (a 3 ha vine on limestone-clay) and 30% Moravia Agria, a very rare grape from Manchuela, on sandy soils (only 50 ha are left in the whole of Spain).
Verdejo (85%), Viura (15%)
Rey Santo is the entry level wien at Javier Sanz Viticultor. Like most of the basic wines in the region, it is a blend of Verdejo and Macabeu Viura). Since 2010, the estate has also been producing a Rey Santo Dulce.
