The appellation Málaga is one of Spain’s oldest and enjoys great notoriety. The sweet Málaga, in particular, has left a trace in history. Like Montilla-Moriles and Jerez, Málaga has known a great viticultural crisis; a lot of producers stopped their activity, leaving the ground to industrial wineries ...
Moscatel

2020
With this magnificent project, Victoria wants to revive the grand tradition of Moscatels from the Axarquía - the hilly region east of Málaga city. The 90-year-old vines used for this cuvée are located at some 800m above sea level. Less than 2,000 bottles produced.

Voladeros is the first Mountain Wine produced in Málaga since the 19th century, when this type of wine from PX grapes made in the hills surrounding the city of Málaga were amongst the most sought-after in Europe. With a lot of patience, Victoria looked for the old parcels where the PX still grows so as to save them. And not only did she make it, but she also made a great wine with them.
Syrah (100%)
Since 2016, Victoria Ordóñez has also been making red wine under the Sierras de Málaga DO. If she is still the "queen" of PX and Moscatel in Málaga, these reds surely deserve to appear on your table. The grapes come from high altitude vineyards surrounding the city of Málaga.
Cabernet Sauvignon (60%), Syrah (20%), Tempranillo (20%)

2018
Petit Verdot (60%), Syrah (20%), Tempranillo (20%)
The latest great wine from Victoria Ordóñez and her son Guillermo, who, since 2016 have never ceased surprising us with the quality of their Malagas - at least, in still wine. This new addition in their red wine range (the other being the Camaroles cuvée) is an exceptional wine - only 2,655 bottles.
Pedro Ximenez (85%), Moscatel (15%)
Back to the typical "Mountain Wines" of Málaga! The label is a poetical reference to the waves on the hull of the Melillero, the boat which links Málaga with the harbour of Melilla, a Spanish city on the North-African Coast. The grapes come from 7 small parcels aged from 30 to 100 years, on the "Montes" surrounding the city of Málaga. These lie between 800 and 1000 metres above sea-level.
