2014
The wine bears the name of a Pre-Roman settlement on the banks of the Douro. Pintia is the youngest of Vega Sicilia's dynasty - 2001 was its first vintage. The whole winemaking process is guided by the Vega Sicilia team.

The prestigious cuvée has always been made the same way; the ageing process has never changed: the wien cannot be sold before it is 10 years old. The grapes of Unico come from older vines (average: 35 years) and the cuvée is only made in the best vintages.

This wine is as prestigious as its big brother Unico, although its blend is slightly different. It is named after the village where the estate lies. The vines are at least 20 years old.

1994 was the first vintage of this wine. The bodega was bought in 1992. Meanwhile, the family has constantly been investing in the cellar and viticultural equipment. In 2000, stainless steel fermentation tanks were replaced by large oak vats and the oak barrel cellar was equipped with air conditioning; more recently, a new bottling line was also installed.
