Local micro-climates, a very long Autumn with a strong thermal amplitude contribute to exceptional sweet wines.
This region has been making wine for more than 1000 years and greats figures in history have liked the Tokaji, like Peter the Great, who sent a permanent mission there to ensure the quality of the wines he bought, and Louis XIV, who called Tokaji "the king of the wines and the wine of the kings".
This wine is now reviving after the hard years of communism.
Tokaji means wine from Tokaj (Hungary).
