R. Parker (95/100)
There is an herbal quality on the nose of the 2018 Viña Pedrosa Gran Reserva that denotes freshness and a cooler year. It's a vintage with more restraint, contained ripeness and a more streamlined and elegant palate. The wine is harmonious, with the character and rusticity of the place but with harmony and balance, which provide the elegance. 9,740 bottles produced. It was bottled in January 2021.
The wines from the Pérez Pascuas family are classical Ribera del Duero examples that are quite transparent with the character of each vintage.
