Terroir Axial
Zaragoza's climate is not easy for wine-growing with freezing Winters and very hot and dry Summers. To get good results, old wines (more resistant) are key. Semi-desertic terroir, stony soils, be they limestone or clay, always very poor in organic compounds. But while the poor soils around the Mocayo represent a challenge for viticulture, here cooler air brings some freshness in the growing season.
