2023
A new line at Jané Ventura's estate. Until now, there were only two whites in the range, an entry-level wine and a top wine. After a long period of experimentation, a new trio of wines was introduced, the Selecció (in white, red and rosé). These three wines are made with the grapes of 15 different vineyards planted with old vines.
Malvasia de Sitges (100%)
2021
16 years ago, Jané Ventura started to try and revive the Malvasia de Sitges of ancient fame. Many other winemakers followed suit. This light and lively wine is a good introduction to this variety. semperviva means eternal, and is the name of a flower that can be dried and thus preserved for a very long time. A beautiful name for a beautiful wine, of which only 4,400 bottles have been made in this first vintage.
Sauvignon blanc (100%)
The DO Rueda and José Pariente owe much of their notoriety to the Verdejo grape. Yet, Sauvignon is also very important for the region. At José Pariente's, 2007 was the first vintage of this very successful project. José died just before the wine received its name. This cuvée represents 10% of the total production of the bodega.
Cariñena (45%), Garnatxa (40%), Cabernet Sauvignon (5%), Merlot (5%), Syrah (5%)
2012
The top of this estate's range. Costero is a plot of old vines on sheer slopes of schist (not terraced). It is quite different from the Negre cuvée, both more powerful and more typical of the place (here the French grapes only play a secondary part). Nunci means village crier - the profession of the ex-owner of the estate.
2011
Merseguera
2018
This is Mustiguillo's greatest white. But more than this, it illustrates the salvage of the Merseguera grape. The grapes come from old, organic, high altitude vines (900m) under continental climate influences. Limestone soils.

2010
Xarel.lo (75%), Chardonnay (25%)
Roura is the champion of the price quality bubbles. Their style is deliciously vinous, which reflects the 15 months of ageing. The Chardonnay in the blend brings some creaminess.

Cariñena, Cinsault, Garnacha, Mourvèdre, Syrah, Tinta Barocca
Early reservation. Wine will arrive between October and November 2025 In South Africa like in Spain, Terroir is a relatively new concept. The oenologist of the Spanish estates we work with played a pioneering role in understanding its value. The same for Eben Sadie and its family in South Africa. Columella is the flagship of this small company. Its production is very limited, but the quality is very high.
Cinsault (100%)
Early reservation. Wine will arrive between October and November 2025.
Garnacha (100%)
Early reservation. Wine will arrive between October and November 2025
Tinta Barocca (100%)

Chenin Blanc, Garnacha Blanca, Marsanne, Palomino, Roussanne, Verdello, Viognier
Early reservation. Wine will arrive between October/November 2025 Palladius is the top white cuvée of the Sadie Family. The grapes come from 17 different vines in the Paardeberg - 13 on granite soils, 4 on sandstone. Very complex in the glass too!
Chenin Blanc (100%)
Early reservation. Wine will arrive between October/November 2025. The Skurfberg Mountain is part of the Citrusdal mountain area and the word Skurfberg (Rugged Mountain) mainly refers to the edgy and rough appearance of the mountain. The soil is mainly decomposed Table Mountain sandstone formations and tends to be very sandy. It is a truly great site for Chenin and it is most unusual that such a warm and dry area still produces wines with this enormous texture and freshness.
Chenin Blanc, Palomino
Early reservation. Wine will arrive between October and November 2025. Skerpioen (Scorpion) is a wine from a very unique location halfway between Dwarskersbos and Elands Bay on the West Coast. One of the most amazing aspects of this location is the fact that the soils are chalky (limestone). In addition to that it is one of the coolest parts of the Swartland region, located a mere 2km from the Atlantic Ocean, but it is also a very dry area with an average rainfall of around 300mm per year. This location is home to some of the most intense south-easterly winds and the old vines look almost abused after having been battered by winds and blowing sand for years and years.
Semillon blanc (100%)
The Kokerboom vineyard consists of around 80% white Green Grape and 20% red Green Grape. They pick them together and press them simultaneously. The wine is one of the richest wines produced with pure volume and massive texture. The Semillon ripens very well in this area due to the high solar radiation and the grapes enter the cellar between 13.5 – 14% alcohol.
Chenin Blanc, Moscatel de Alejandria, Palomino, Semillon blanc, Semillon gris
Early reservation. Wine will arrive between October and November 2025. The name means The Footpath in Dutch, and comes from the name of Dirk Brand’s wheat and rooibos tea farm, where the rustic block of old vines is tucked away. This is surely the most isolated old vineyard in the country, presumably originally planted to supply the farmer and his neighbours. Its 1.4 hectares host varieties established in the Cape since the early days of European settlement, with most of the planting done between 1887 – 1928, and all of the vines grow on their own roots . The vineyard’s survival without irrigation is also extraordinary in this hot valley in the north of the huge Swartland region, near the village of Aurora and Elands Bay on the coast. Its precise location has allowed it to survive, with an underground river flowing beneath it from the mountains
