Behind the name Envinate are four friends from various wine regions of Spain who met while studying at the Faculty of Oenology in Alicante. Their preference for fresh and drinkable wines from old local varieties make them close, and so they decided to create a common project - the name meaning something ...

Migan is made from old vines in La Orotava, where the white Palo Blanco is also produced. Here too, we find the classic Cordón Trenzado, or braided vineyards—unique vineyards rich in history, always marked by their typical volcanic characteristics. The best red from this region!

Behind the Envinate project, one of the most prominent of Spain's new generation, are Roberto Santana, Alfonso Torrente, Laura Ramos, and José Martínez. The four met in 2005 while studying oenology at the University of Alicante and formed a team.
La Santa de Ursula is the latest red addition from the top winery Envinate. For me personally, also the most beautiful. Sourced from two different plots in the Tacoronte region. A fine blend primarily of Listan with Negramoll. The most Burgundian of the red wines!
Tintorera (70%), Moravia Agria (30%)
Envínate operates in several regions of Spain. The red thread being the elegance and the Atlantic character of their wines. Cet Albahra ("small lake") is the most Mediterranean of their range, but still shows some elegance. It is made with 70% Tintorera from Almnasa (a 3 ha vine on limestone-clay) and 30% Moravia Agria, a very rare grape from Manchuela, on sandy soils (only 50 ha are left in the whole of Spain).
Lousas is the workhorse of Envínate in Galicia. Their "village wine". Besides their top volcanic wines in Tenerife, they also have beautiful vineyards in Ribeira Sacra, located between 400 and 600 m altitude. The Lousas is the Spanish alternative to village wines from Burgundy, which today often cost many times as much as this Spaniard. All vineyards are in biodynamics.
